About me

I’m a contemporary artist based in Bournemouth on England’s south coast, where the ever-changing coastline is a constant source of inspiration. I live here with my family, and the rhythm of coastal life—shifting light, wide skies, and the calm energy of the sea—naturally feeds into my work.

Painting is a meditative process for me. I work intuitively, building each piece through layers of texture and carefully blended colour to create soft, luminous transitions and a sense of depth and stillness. It’s a chance to slow down, be present, and create something that feels peaceful both to make and to experience.

And the added bonus - all of my work is finished and hand-framed by my husband, which adds a really personal, considered touch to each piece.

Working in abstraction, I explore the balance between subtle and vibrant colour palettes, creating atmospheric paintings that invite quiet reflection and a moment of pause.
