Golden Hour
I’m so excited to be exhibiting at Chalk’s Gallery in Lymington as part of Golden Hour, running now until the 31st January 2026.
This exhibition is a celebration of light — that fleeting, glowing moment when warmth lingers and the seasons quietly begin to shift. For me, Golden Hour felt like the perfect home for pieces from my autumn collection, which explores the ever-changing drama of our skies at this time of year. Autumn light has a way of feeling both nostalgic and hopeful, and that balance is something I return to again and again in my work.
The exhibition features a collection of my acrylic paintings, alongside prints of my original works, each inspired by those in-between moments when the sky feels alive with movement and emotion.
Several key pieces form the heart of the collection:
Ember captures fiery skies as summer’s warmth is kissed goodbye.
Afterglow reflects summer’s last lingering hum — a soft transition into autumn’s melody.
Dawning celebrates the beauty of first light, with dawn’s chorus singing across the sky.
Twilight marks the quieter shift into autumn evenings, where colours deepen and time seems to slow.
Alongside these larger works, I’m also sharing a collection of mini pieces, as well as prints of my original painting A Dream — pieces designed to bring that sense of warmth and light into more intimate spaces.
I’m incredibly grateful to Harriet and Rosie, the gallery owners and curators at Chalk’s Gallery, for creating such a welcoming and thoughtful space for this exhibition. Their eye for storytelling through art makes Golden Hour feel truly special.
If you’re local to Lymington — or visiting over the coming months — I’d absolutely love for you to visit the show and experience the work in person. There’s something about seeing these pieces together, surrounded by light, that really completes the story.
Thank you, as always, for supporting my work and following along on this journey. ✨
